In 1925, Wyandotte Toys introduced a line of "Pop Guns" that were made of metal and wood. The guns used air pressure to make a popping sound when the trigger was pulled. The Pop Guns were popular toys for boys and were marketed as a way to play cowboys and Indians or cops and robbers. They came in different sizes and styles, and some even shot cork bullets. Today, the Wyandotte Pop Guns are considered collector's items and can be found at vintage toy auctions and online marketplaces.
